Amayzing is a hip hop group made up of two creative and talented artists from Zimbabwe namely Rayze’em and Uneeq.Two artists that crossed paths during a cipher at a popular college in the streets of Harare better known as H-town. A musical relationship was formed at that time. The two emcees maintained contact briefly but due to different social backgrounds the relationship was short lived,4years later destiny called in when Uneeq found himself in the same social setting as Rayze’em at an Institute of higher learning in a foreign land(Malaysia) where hip hop is at its developing stage. Due to life’s twist n turns they found themselves bonding on a deeper than music level i.e socially, economically, lyrically spiritually e.t.c and these common grounds contributed to the music they would make in the future. Instead of focusing on the negatives in their lives (though at times they addressed them)they focused their music on the tribulations more than the trials thus their music was more on the feel good celebration side than the painful, at the same time flaunting and displaying their vocal and lyrical God given abilities. Though egotistic (to a certain extent), these two emcees focus more on lyricism i.e metaphors and punch lines be it commercial, hardcore, mainstream or conscious rap.
