Lil Wayne has had trouble delivering his new LP Tha Carter IV by its promised release date(s), so as an apology the rapper is offering up a free mixtape. Featuring 12 tracks and a guest spot from Lil B, the aptly titled Sorry 4 the Wait is now available to download here. You can also stream the effort in full above.
As for Tha Carter IV, Wayne revealed this week that the album is “totally done,” and features contributions from Nas, Tech N9ne, Cee-Lo, John Legend, Busta Rhymes, Shyne, and Jadakiss, as well as production from Swizz Beatz. Its current release date is listed for August 29th (via Young Money), though in the event of another delay, you now have a new mixtape.
