Following the death of Pop singer Whitney Houston yesterday, her family have moments ago released official statement with regards to her passing.
This comes hours after Houston’s daughter Bobbi was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital for reasons yet to be confirmed.

We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Whitney. This is an unimaginable tragedy and we will miss her terribly.
We appreciate the outpouring of love and support from her fans and friends. – The Houston Family
Houston is survived by her mother Cissy, daughter Bobbi and cousin Dionne Warwick.
