Looks like the infamous Murda I-N-C head honcho wont be coming home anytime soon, after the Judge just added 2 more years to his original sentence after failing to pay his income taxes in excess of $3 million..
Ja Rule was accused of failing to pay the IRS millions of dollars in taxable income that was earned from 2004 to 2006.
According to The Associated Press, the jail time will run concurrently with his two year sentence for attempted criminal possession of a weapon, stemming from a July, 2007 incident.
The new jail time means that job role could serve an extra 4 to 12 months in prison for the tax violation.
JA said: - ”I in no way attempted to deceive the government or do anything illegal. I was a young man who made a lot of money — I’m getting a little choked up — I didn’t know how to deal with these finances”
Ja Rule, born Jeffrey Atkins, is currently serving two years in prison, after pleading guilty to attempted criminal weapon possession, stemming from an arrest in July of 2007, where police found a gun in his Maybach, he must also pay $1.1 million in back taxes.
