The famed music producer hits another financial snafu following a near foreclosure on his Atlanta home last week.
After avoiding foreclosure on his Atlanta, Georgia mansion last week, Jermaine Dupri is facing further financial troubles. An ATL-based woman named Sarai Jones is suing the So So Def honcho for missed child support payments following a recent court order for him to pay her monthly installments.
The trouble stems from an order from Fulton County Superior Court Judge Margaret Dorsey who, after a paternity test, determined that Dupri was the father of a seven-month-old girl. In March, the judge told Dupri that he had to pay $2,500 a month as well as another $7,500 to Jones.
Dupri’s financial problems have recently come to light. In addition to his home being in jeopardy, he owes $493,768.75 in back taxes for income earned during 2007.
