Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius’ collaborative project, WZRD is in stores today. According to Cudi it was undershipped. As he’s done in the past, Cudder turned to Twitter and lashed out on the label for its lack of support.
Ok so just a heads up, my weak ass label only shipped 55k physicals cuz they treated this like some indie side project tax right off. So i apologize on behalf of my weak ass major label. And I apologize for the lack of promo, again, my weak ass major label. They tried to rush me thru this so i can just give em another MOTM, but guess what? Fuck that, next album is WZRD. MOTM3 on hold til 2014.
who mad??? not me and @DotDaGenius : ) So its def gonna be tough to find one in the stores guys, I’m sorry about that. I gotta go out and find one too, becuz my weak ass label never even gave us a copy of our own album. FAIL!!! Im lettin Universal Republic have it, fuck it. What they gon’ do, spank me?? hahahaha
AND Teleport 2 Me, Jamie aint on the radio!!!! like helloooooooooo????? HIT HIT HIT!!!
Here's what Kid Cudi has to say about his tantrum he had on stage at Heatwave festival in Australia so promoters if you bring Kid Cudi to a town near you make sure you don’t cut his set short.
If my set is EVER cut short at any show, im trashing the stage. Not out of anger, it takes a lot to get me furious nowadays, but out of principle. The fans always deserve a full set at all shows, especially when they spend their hard earned money on expensive tickets.
A lot of artist wouldnt do what I did in Australia, but I will. Spread the word. No matter the circumstance, cut my set short, im breaking shit. And next time im startin a riot. Me and my fans. Cause promoters will sometime take advantage of the artists, and u gotta let em know what time it is. Cutting nobody any slack.— Rager
Dot Da Genius and KiD CuDi have announced that the album has been pushed back and will most probably drop on February 28th. On January 3oth, we will get three singles instead: ‘Brake’, ‘Teleport 2 Me’ and ‘Dose Of Dopeness’.
Dot Da Genius:
Hey Guys, WZRD Update. Me and Cudi have been working on our debut album and it’s almost near completion. We are in the final stages of mastering but we really had to take time and pay attention to the sonics as this is new territory for us. With that being said, we have decided to change the release date. We are looking roughly at Feb 28th. Y’all know how Cudi is’ and I’m the same way. Everything has to be in place and now it is.
I know it’s late notice, we were trying to keep the date but got wrapped up making this album perfect for y’all. However for making you guys wait a little longer we will release ‘Brake’ & ‘Teleport 2 Me’ on iTunes on the previously said date. AS WELL AS ‘DOSE OF DOPENESS’. Hopefully that will hold you guys over until the album drops!
KiD CuDi added:
My whole career Ive had 2 prove people wrong, WZRD will be no different. This album will finally make people believers, WE CAN DO ANYTHING. U can argue who’s the best mc, who’s the freshest, who sales the most, but it is no contest when I say Iam the ONLY one who can do what I do. UN FUCK WITTABLE. I just wanna save lives….

Is this your first time creating music not under the influence?
Yeah.
What’s that like?
Stressful. But I love the challenge. It’s like a kid learning to ride a bike—you can’t have those training wheels forever. I have to learn how to be inspired by other things than my turmoil and pain and stress. I have to learn how to sit in the studio, clearheaded, and make a jam.
Have you had writer’s block?
At times. You sit there, and you’re like, “Fuck,” because you know there’s people waiting. You work through it, though.
Good Music artist Kid CuDi announced via his Tumblr the cancellation of his tape. It looks like we won’t be getting a new Cudi Mixtape but on the positive note Cudi claims his album will be out by the end of the year.
A Man Named Scott is scrapped everyone, I know its a bummer but ive just been too busy with this new album and thats where all my energy and focus is right now. I gotta work on what moves me creatively. After this im going straight to work on MOTM3 so dont trip. You’ll definately have the WIZARD album this year so no worries. Trust im working extra hard to make this shit as amazing as possible and get yall some new jams. Again, sorry for the late notice. I know youll understand, I hope you understand ha

A song that was intended for KiD CuDi’s Man on the Moon Part 1, but didn’t make the final tracklist. This seems unfinished because at the beginning he mentions The Clipse, but they aren’t on the track.
Kid Cudi talks about his Video Titled Marijuana. Ironic coz a few months ago he announced he had quit smoking. He talks more about the Shia Lebeouf directed clip and how it cam about.
The video has been in the works forever but Cudder finally lets the finished product go today. He’s in a giving mood so make the most of it. Directed, shot and edited by Shia LaBeouf.
Cudi drops off a brand new track. Apparently, the lonely stoner has given up smoking weed. Or at least that’s what the declaration is on KiD CuDi’s Tumblr page. Read below...
Listen/Download: Kid Cudi – 'Capcom'
"I dont smoke weed anymore. Ill leave it to the kids. Im 27 with a business to run and i need to be alert and focused with my mind strong. For those who still get it on, smoke one in my memory as your favorite lonely stoner.
This is not a joke. I know most of you wanna see me all drugged out and fucked up and i know misery loves company, but im sorry those days are over. I had a good run, Amsterdam and all. Im happy being sober. Im happy being a new me. Giva fuck who thinks of me different, you didnt care about me in the first place if you cant be proud and happy for me for growing and starting a new chapter. Im not your puppet or your tap dancing drug addict here to be your miserable muse, i always made music for me to help myself find understanding. I have finally learned from the words in my songs. I love who loves me and who really cares about me.
Learn from this, theres always light at the end of the tunnel. Hell does have an exit, and i found it. For those who are looking for a way out, i left the door open, and ill be waiting for whoever wants to grow with me." Peace and Love, Cudi
