Raekwon, L.E.P. Bogus Boys amd Dion Primo drop some heat. Although Shallah’s mixtape was suppose to come out today, he’s postponed it until New Years to fine tune it. The proejct contains appearances from Busta Rhymes, Mobb Deep, Sauce Money, CL Smooth, L.E.P. Bogus Boys, Vado, Fred The Godson, Styles P and more. Not to mention production contributions from Scram Jones, 9th Wonder, Statik Selektah etc.

Last night, the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernadino, CA played host to the first stop of this year’s Rock The Bells Festival. Headliners included Ms. Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Raekwon & Ghostface, Common, Cypress Hill, Black Star, Mobb Deep and more. Nas, who’s also one of the main draws this year, performed the classic Illmatic album in it’s entirety. In the video below, Common joins Nasir for “Ghetto Dreams” live for the first time.

Cee-Lo Playing Raekwon’s Pops In Biopic

Raekwon revealed to XXL, that his biopic C.R.E.A.M. is 60% complete and has enlisted Cee-Lo to play the role of his father.

“Cee Lo Green [is] playing my pops in the film. Cee Lo is gon’ play Raekwon’s ol’ dad! [He’s] a good friend of mine. When I called him and told him about it he was just overwhelmed. He’s just one out of the greats that’s gonna be on the project.”
