New EP: Miguel – 'Art Dealer Chic, Vol. 1'
Miguel debuts his three-song EP Art Dealer Chic, Vol. 1, the first of three micro EPs. The free download, inspired by his dreams, features his single “Adorn” plus “That I Do (FTRMX)” and “Gravity.” All songs were written and produced by Miguel, with co-production by the Fisticuffs on “Gravity.” Volumes 2 and 3 will arrive on the 27th of March and April.

Miguel gets help from Big Sean for the official remix to his single “Quickie.” and i must say this track right here should be a hit, remix or original, it has a smooth tone to it and the beat is too dope, this that kind of R&B music singers should be making not that over-saturated dance pop whackness, this is the official remix even though the was a remix with Twista already.

Miguel and Lloyd Exchange Heated Words Over Hair
Miguel and Lloyd came head to head (no pun intended) at Z107.9′s Summer Jam in Cleveland over the weekend. The “Sure Thing” singer ignited blogs when he commented about Lloyd’s new haircut. “Imitation is the Highest form of Flattery. Shout to LLoyd,” he wrote after seeing Young Goldie’s newly shaved head. But Lloyd didn’t let him off easy when they met up backstage.
Miguel burst into the dressing room singing “The Wayans Bros.” theme song (“We’re brothers, we’re happy and we’re singing and we’re colored”). Lloyd wasn’t having it and immediately asked Miguel why he sent out his controversial tweet.
“Why would you even say that though?” asked Lloyd.
Miguel replied, “Yo, it shouldn’t have been said, as honest as I may have been. If it was like me and you having a conversation and I said it to you, it would have been different. The fact that I said it on Twitter was fu**ed up and I apologize for that.”
Lloyd explained why he was so upset. “But the fact is that I was not trying to imitate you,” he continued. “I just felt like it was disrespectful. On some real shit, it was cheap and I felt like it was distasteful. The idea behind it wasn’t to mock you or imitate you, it was just to shave my [hair] so I could get a tattoo. For you to say that and bring all that kind of energy to me… It’s album release week so why am I answering questions about Miguel when I should be talking about my album that I worked two years for?
