Mac Miller Talks Joint Project With Cam’ron
Mac Miller and Cam’ron’s song ‘Dig That‘ wasn’t a one off leak. The two are working on a joint project together and Mac tells XXL what the sound is going to be like.
“Me and Cam are actually talking about doing a project together. We don’t know when we’re gonna do it. We have three or four songs recorded already. We’re working on more at this point.”
“We cut up a lot in the studio, and have a good time and make some dope music. I think the cool thing is that it’s an unexpected collaboration that actually turned out dope. We wanna do some soulful hip-hop shit, while also making some hard shit and some fun music. [We’re] making sure that we do it in a way that’s different than other people who have done projects together. It’s still in the brainstorming stage, but we definitely have some dope records done. He’s got a lot of knowledge in that he’s schooling me on.”

Mac Miller Blue Slide Park Tops Billboard
Mac Miller’s debut, Blue Slide Park will premiere tomorrow at the top of the Billboard charts. According to Hits Daily Double, the album sold an estimated 148, 915 copies.
Mac becomes the first artist in 16 years to debut independently at number one. Congrats to him and the entire Rostrum team.

Mac Miller’s ‘Blue Slide Park’ Projected To Sell 100k In First Week
Hits Daily Double has published a very interesting article on Mac Miller’s rise to success based on his strong social media network profile. His album Blue Slide Park which comes out on November 8th through INgrooves / Fontana / Rostrum is being projected by insiders to reach the six figures mark in the opening week, a first for Fontana. The album has been available for pre-order for over a month which has already garnered strong sales.
“I’ve never seen an artist and label do a better job with social network one-to-one fan outreach, Max’s fans are beyond loyal. This is already a success because it’s been done outside the traditional ways of setting up a record, It’s being driven by everything Rostrum and Mac have done.
