Video: Lauryn Hill Addresses Return To Music And Performs In Stockholm

Posted by Canrus On 08:01

L Boogie took her talents over to Sweden to perform at Filadelfiakyrkan. While on stage she spoke to the crowd about her absence from music and pledged a full return, thanking the fans for their support. Check out the footage of Ms. Hill going through the legendary catalog.

“You look great, your energy is beautiful, It’s been a while huh? We’re getting it together, ya know..it’s been a lot of adversity along the way so that we could be love, and we could be pure and we could..just resist,..all of those things that try to sorta keep us from being as transparent and as open as we want to be for you. We appreciate your patience but we appreciate your love and I have to believe that what I did the first time, you received my sincerity from it. So you knew through all those years, all those things that people said, they had no idea what was going on behind the scenes. But understand, my intention was always to come back and give a better version of the story. A more truthful, more honest, more transparent version of the story,..ya know? To be a more whole me, so I can encourage you to be a more whole you”
