Soulja Boy Arrested In Temple, Georgia
TMZ has learned that platinum selling rapper Soulja Boy has been arrested today for Weed Possession. Soulja Boy was arrested alongside 4 other men who were found to have about $70,000 on them and TMZ sources say a gun was also on board which isn’t clear yet if it’s a licensed firearm. Soulja Boy is currently being held in Carrol County Jail.

He may not have a private jet worth $55 million, as the rumors said, but he sure had a blast at Miami’s Club Play South Beach! The night brought out many artists & friends such as Just Blaze, Trae Tha Truth, Sean Kingston and lots of champagne & dancers. The party lasted till the early morning hours and one of the highlights of the evening was the cake in the shape of a crown. He’s only 21 and he has rumors of buying a private jet for 55 million?! Soulja Boy Cops $55 Million Jet?
Soulja Boy celebrated his 21 st birthday this week and purchased a $55 million private jet? According to TMZ, the plane costs $35 million, but SB put $20 million to get it tricked out. He’s also reportedly spending 300 racks for a party tonight in Miami.
Update: Soulja Boy along with several members of his inner circle perpetuated a lie about purchasing a $55 million G5 jet... at least that's what a spokesperson for Soulja is now saying.
Earlier this week, TMZ spoke with Soulja, a member of his management team named Shai Storm and Soulja's assistant who all verified Soulja dropped the cash on the private jet as a 21st birthday gift to himself.
Soulja even went on a radio show yesterday in Miami after TMZ's story posted and when asked if he bought the plane, coyly told the DJ he was "G5 status" ... but never said the story was false.
Now, Soulja's "spokesperson" Greg Miller has issued a statement on behalf of the rapper ... saying the "elaborate rumors" are "not true."
Funny, because when TMZ spoke with Soulja earlier this week and asked him directly, he responded, "Hell yeah ... I bought it."
Since Miller's statement, TMZ has made dozens of calls to Shai Storm -- but he hasn't picked up. Storm did return a text message saying he was instructed that all media relations are now going through Miller.

Soulja Boy To Play Tupac’s Role In Juice
Just when you think you've heard it all, they hit you with another one. According to VIBE, Soulja Boy is set to reprise Pac’s role as “Bishop” in an adaptation of Juice. Apparently, the film will coincide with his mixtape bearing the same name. Below is what he told VIBE of the flick.
VIBE: Can you tell us a little bit about the story line for Juice?
SB: Basically, it’s your boy Soulja and I’m Bishop in 2011, running around in the streets, man. You know how the movie goes, but we’re flipping it and shooting in Atlanta. I want to show these people my acting side and me being creative—always giving them something new; that’s all. I got same video director that shot “Crank That,” “Kiss Me Through The Phone,” “Turn My Swag On” —my most successful videos. The whole mixtape is the soundtrack for the movie.
Did you cast any other rappers in the flick?
Yeah, man. Actually Cam’Ron reached out to get in the movie. Some of the original actors that were in the original reached out too. We’re in pre-production right now. We start filming on the Apr. 28th in Atlanta. It’s going to be crazy. Of course I’m going to have my S.O.D. family in there. We’re juicing up!
Who from the original movie is going to be in it? Raheem [Laughs] ?
Not Raheem. You know the chubby one? He reached out. He actually wanted a part. I thought that was cool, so I told the director Rage to just go ahead and put him in the movie.
