Super Producer, Ryan Leslie creates a new song titled ”5 Minute Freshen Up” from scratch in the studio, With all the instruments being played by himself. He then invites a fan who he picked on Twitter and performs the track for her. The album Les Is More is on the way.

R Les’ Les Is More album is still coming. The delay can be attributed to the change of plans regarding the concept of the album with Ryan calling it a ‘Visual’ one. Here’s a nice kickstart, an in-studio look at the making of the upcoming single ‘Beautiful Lie’. The singer turned rapper has performed the song at various events before but the studio recording is yet to surface.
Armin Augstein, a 52-year-old German who found Ryan Leslie’s stolen laptop is seeking $1 million fee plus interest in a suit filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan. Back in January, Armin recovered R Les’ Macbook in a park in Stommlerbusch, near Cologne which was stolen from back of the singer’s Mercedes at a concert tour stop in Cologne in October, 2010. But apparently, all efforts of the finder in claiming his $1 million reward as promised by Ryan have failed and hence he has decided to sue.
“It’s unfortunate that my client has to go to such lengths to recover the reward,” said Michael Fischman, Augstein’s U.S.-based lawyer.
R Les did a free show at the Apple store at 14th Street in New York City last night and in between his set, a premiered a new track called ‘Fly’ for the audience. He has done this track for Red Cafe which will also feature Rick Ross.
R-Les stops through to 106 & Park and reveals he's shooting a video trilogy for the upcoming Les Is More (due out this summer), working on Jay-Z and Ye on Watch The Throne and more.
MTV was on the set of Lloyd Banks’ new video with Ryan Leslie for ‘So Forgetful,’ one of the tracks from HFM2.
“The way we put the record together was kind of how the video is playing out. I stopped by the studio, [Leslie] was working on a few sounds, and he plays everything, from the drums to the keys. So, he basically started, and I just started writing the verses, and it came to life.”
Ryan Leslie performed at The Park in Washington DC and included was a performance of the Les Is More cut ‘Beautiful Lie,’ which he debuted for the first time in Paris earlier this year.

Ryan Leslie debuted his track "Maybachs & Diamonds." The beat was originally made for Rick Ross but they never finished the version so Ryan Leslie kept it for his own album. He debuted the full song for the first time at Love Nightclub, Washington D.C. a couple of nights ago. Les Is More is coming July 4th.
At their Annual Grammy Jam Session, The Roots brought out R Les to perform his hit ‘Diamond Girl’.
R Les had a question-answer round on Twitter where he revealed that a remix of Fabolous’ ‘You Be Killin Em’ is on the way, that they’ll be shooting the video for ‘So Forgetful’ in 2 weeks and Banks will make an appearance on his own album Les Is More. (HHNM)
