The Dipset rappers held a tribute concert in the Bronx last night for the late associate Andre Hudson aka Huddy 6 who died in a car accident in October last year. During Juelz’ set, he brought out Lloyd Banks for ‘Beamer, Benz Or Bentley’ and ‘Start It Up’.
TMZ has learned that Juelz Santana was arrested in New Jersey this week on the suspicion of making terrorist threats. He was also booked for disorderly conduct and refused to let the cops search his vehicle. Juelz is out on $46,500 bail. If anything serious comes of this, we will keep you posted. Following Mack Maine’s announcement that Lil Wayne is currently working on the long delayed I Can’t Feel My Face joint album with Juelz Santana, Vibe caught up with the Dipset rapper to seek his views on the subject. Juelz says the album is definitely on the way. This time, he sounds serious.
“So you know —Me and Wayne actually talked and decided that it was the perfect time to get together. We just piecing together the music that we already had—that people ain’t hear— along with—he sent me about 8 new records.
We got a great relationship—whether the album was coming out or not—me and him would still be rocking hard. I think the people that want to hear that album want to hear just me and Wayne. I think the best thing for us to do would just be to get with some great producers.”
Before you start reading this, here’s a disclaimer: Mack Maine’s initial claims hardly hold truth in the end so digest this with caution.
According to the Young Money President, Lil Wayne’s next 2 projects are the long delayed I Can’t Feel My Face joint album with Juelz Santana and the Young Money group album.
“The next project he’s working on is I Can’t Feel My Face with [Juelz Santana]. Elz is talented man. He’s a young legend. [Wayne’s] back working in the studio. He has that and the Young Money album.”
Juelz Santana recently spoke with XXL revealing more details on Dipset’s upcoming film tentatively titled, Diplomatic Immunity, which will coincide with their next album. Juelz says it will not be in documentary form, but an actual scripted flick.
“It’s gonna be a movie like the way they did Notorious. But we’re just gonna be playin’ ourselves. That might be the first [movie] where we get to play ourselves instead of havin’ people. We’ll do it when we’re younger, but as it gets to us we’ll really play ourselves, cut the hair off our face so we look younger and shit like that. Cam might have to gain some weight from when he was big. Jim would have to grow his braids back, get some extensions and all that ’cause he cut his hair. We gon’ figure it out, but we gon’ do it right.”
